We absolutely loved our stay at this charming resort. the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. the receptionist, in particular, was a beautiful and loving lady who made us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised when she upgraded us to a pool front room without any reason. And when our air conditioning stopped working, she promptly moved us to another room. the resort's small and welcoming atmosphere made it a relaxing place to stay.
We felt so taken care of during our stay at the Light Khao Lak Resort, that we have no complaints whatsoever. the staff were always sweet and friendly, ready to assist with anything we needed.

Mosquito nets on doors would be nice.

She even upgraded us to a pool front room for no reason. the rooms were modern, clean, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and all necessary amenities. the location was perfect, surrounded by greenery and quiet at night. We enjoyed the free breakfast and loved how close we were to the beach and a great Thai restaurant. the staff was friendly and helpful, offering tours and scooter rentals. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Khao Lak. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.

Lovely quiet location but very close to many bars, restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. Bungalows are kept very clean with daily towel and sheet changes. Good laundry service available. New bicycles and mopeds for rent.
Felt snug, nothing to complain about.

Absolutely spotless rooms and well-appointed facilities. The pool was delightful to relax by. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful with arranging tours and transportation. The location was perfect, close to restaurants but on a quiet road.
The breakfast could have been better, with more variety and options. It would have been nice to have mosquito nets on the bungalow doors to prevent mosquito bites at night.

the location was perfect, as it was within walking distance to Similan islands and the beautiful Memory beach, which only took us 15 minutes to reach. We also loved exploring the nearby markets. the rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that felt like marshmallows. the staff were incredibly friendly and always went out of their way to assist us. Although there wasn't a traditional breakfast, we appreciated the free coffee and toast in the mornings. the resort also had a lovely pool where we could relax after a day of exploring. the resort provided a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it.
The only minor drawback was that some of the towels and sheets seemed a bit worn and could use updating.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
